To mark International Women’s Day, our founder, Monica Bradley, speaks about her career journey and the experience of building and leading her own business.
What inspired you to build a career in the mortgage and financial services industry?
I’ve always been motivated by helping people make important life decisions and feel good about their choices. Buying a home or planning your finances can feel daunting for many people, and I love being able to guide clients through that process and help them achieve something that really matters to them. It’s rewarding to know they feel confident in their choices as a result of our advice.
What has been one of the highlights of your career so far?
Building the business has been hard work but incredibly rewarding. Seeing the team grow, supporting clients through big life moments and being recognised within the industry are all things I’m very proud of. But the biggest highlight is the strong relationships we’ve built with clients and colleagues over the years. I am honoured to serve three generations of families.

What does it mean to you to lead a female-owned business?
For me, it’s about creating an environment where people feel supported, valued and able to thrive. I’m proud to lead a business where collaboration, professionalism and mutual respect are at the heart of what we do. We have a fantastic team and a culture where everyone’s contribution matters.
What advice would you give to women starting out in their careers?
Believe in your abilities and don’t be afraid to ask questions or seek guidance. Surround yourself with people who support and inspire you and remember that confidence often grows through experience. Most importantly, stay curious and keep learning. I often say that if I attend a meeting or a webinar and learn just one thing, it’s been worth my time.
What does International Women’s Day mean to you personally?
It’s a moment to recognise the achievements of women, reflect on progress that has been made and celebrate the positive impact women have across every industry. It’s also a reminder of the importance of supporting one another and continuing to create opportunities for the next generation.
