I am an experienced professional in financial services with a career spanning 35 years, first as an international banker and more recently as a qualified mortgage and protection adviser.

I joined MB Associates to guide my clients in achieving their financial goals; whether that’s buying a first home, moving house, or re-mortgaging to a better rate for residential or investment properties. I believe it’s very important to fully understand my clients’ circumstances and goals so that I can provide tailored advice to suit their individual needs. I’m especially keen to ensure that my clients’ families are sufficiently protected to provide long-term stability and peace of mind, more important than ever in today’s fast-changing world.

In my spare time, I endure boot camp training sessions in the park, enjoy hill-walking at a more leisurely pace, and argue passionately with my four sons about who supports the best football team. Obviously its Plymouth Argyle FC!

Random fact about me: I was the 83rd man in the world to run a marathon on every continent, including Antarctica.

The 95% Mortgage Guarantee Scheme

The government’s new 95 Per Cent Mortgage Guarantee Scheme launched on Monday 19 April 2021. The aim of the scheme is to make more 95 per cent mortgages available to those with smaller deposits. First-time buyers can apply but you don’t have to be one to be eligible.
